Libra

Those born under the Western Zodiac sign of Libra are charming, elegant, and make excellent hosts. Libras are intrigued by the bold and unusual. They dream of a life of romance and adventure, but also secretly want the easy life - luxury and variety without all of the responsibility that usually comes with it. Libras are very graceful and peaceful. They strive to be hospitable and easy going and almost always have great taste in art and design. Libras are also intelligent, especially when it comes to business, as they are natural curators of their own unique tastes and know how to give people what they want.

That is also part of the struggle for Libra. They are often so busy trying to keep others happy that they don’t spend enough time taking care of their own lives. They are constantly saying “yes” when they should be saying “no” and end up piling on too many responsibilities to keep up with.

Deep down Libras are a bit insecure. They fear making the wrong decision and can’t stand the thought of other people not liking them. Libras also tend to rely heavily on relationships with others to make them happy and are upset when others don’t live up to their often unrealistic expectations. Still, the complex Libra remains focused primarily on keeping the peace and ensuring that justice is handed out evenly and deservedly. Libras like to spend time with others and are typically good at listening to others and coming up with a new perspective. If only they could do as much for themselves as they do for others...

There are 12 different types of Libras in Primal Astrology, one for each of the 12 Eastern Zodiac signs that can pair with this Western Zodiac sign. Each one is summarized below and includes a link to find more information about it.

Libra
&
Dog

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Dog are represented in Primal Astrology by the Crane. Nobody cares about justice more than a Crane. While diplomatic, honest, and caring on the outside, Cranes are often bored or even irritated by the drudgery of real life and like to spend time dreaming of a better future. Dog enhances Libra’s humanitarian nature and sense of loyalty to friends and family, but also brings some emotional instability with it.

Libra
&
Dragon

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Dragon are represented in Primal Astrology by the Porcupine. With Porcupines, the Dragon adds a sense of confidence, nobility, and pride that Libra can make good use of, though Dragons also tend to be stubborn and temperamental as well. This combination is capable of great things, but they first have to keep from feeling entitled and becoming such perfectionists that no one can live up to their standards.

Libra
&
Horse

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Horse are represented in Primal Astrology by the Goose. Geese are more likely to jump on chances for adventure than other Libras. They are more independent as well, but they can also be restless, impatient, and quick tempered. Goose is a very creative sign that has everything required to see its goals through to the end.

Libra
&
Monkey

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Monkey are represented in Primal Astrology by the Axolotl. The Monkey enhances Libra’s intellectual, observational, and social skills, while adding charm, humor, and an outgoing presence to the mix. However, Monkeys are bad about finishing what they start which can cause this combination to find a groove early and stick with it far beyond the point that it benefits them.

Libra
&
Ox

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Ox are represented in Primal Astrology by the Elephant. With Elephants, the Ox brings emotional and financial stability, a tireless work ethic, and a respect for traditions. Elephants are great listeners and are always trustworthy and loyal. They enjoy sharing their lives with another and are often closet romantics. This is a good combination of two signs that benefit from one another.

Libra
&
Pig

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Pig are represented in Primal Astrology by the Marmot. Marmots are among the least likely of Libras to get involved in the drama of other people. The Pig enhances Libra’s peaceful idealism and likable innocence, but it also brings a certain naivety that will most likely frustrate Libra. Marmots love having nice things, which can work because they tend to also be good with money.

Libra
&
Rabbit

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Rabbit are represented in Primal Astrology by the Butterfly. The Rabbit helps to calm Libra’s restless need for new experiences, but also adds to Libra’s warmth, manners, and easy going exterior. Butterflies tend to be more pessimistic than other Libras, though, and also tend to judge others based on superficial factors as well.

Libra
&
Rat

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Rat are represented in Primal Astrology by the Vulture. Vultures are often focused more on the future than the present. The Rat is highly curious and energetic, which feeds into Libra’s romantic visions of the future well. Rats also can be aggressive, narrow-minded, and judgmental, the last of which is something Libra has to be very careful about taking too far.

Libra
&
Rooster

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Rooster are represented in Primal Astrology by the Pelican. The Rooster adds confidence and social radiance to Libra with this sign, though Rooster’s love of attention and flattery can lead Libra off course. Pelicans have many romantic dreams of their future and are determined to make themselves successful in whatever they pursue.

Libra
&
Sheep

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Sheep are represented in Primal Astrology by the Clownfish. For Clownfish, appearances are highly important. They have good taste and are excellent hosts. The Sheep brings a sweetness and a childlike quality to the often edgy Libra, but together the two signs will have to work on their self-esteem and putting themselves first every once in a while.

Libra
&
Snake

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Snake are represented in Primal Astrology by the Ladybug. The Snake brings Libra charm, mystery, and sense of humor while enhancing Libra’s good manners and desire for independence. Snakes, however, also can be elusive, unforgiving, and self-indulgent. Ladybugs want what they want when they want it, and with the skill set inherent in this combination, they usually end up getting it.

Libra
&
Tiger

Libras born during the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Tiger are represented in Primal Astrology by the Tasmanian Devil. Tasmanian Devils are more likely than other Libras to show their emotions and voice their opinions. The Tiger brings leadership, rebelliousness, and moxy to the game while enhancing Libra’s love of adventure. Tasmanian Devils may be a bit unpredictable, but deep down their intentions almost always stem from a passionate desire to see justice for all.
