Taurus

The Western Zodiac sign of Taurus symbolizes patience, dependability, and strength through determination. They have a strong need for security, both financially and emotionally. Taureans are famous for their stubbornness which sometimes hinders but mostly helps them. Members of this sign can hang in there long after most others have given up. The Taurus stubbornness can be frustrating to others, especially when Taureans refuse to do something just because they were told to. They are loyal and generous friends who are always willing to lend a hand, though they will have a harder time parting with money this way because it contradicts their deep seeded need for financial security. The Taurus stubbornness can be frustrating to others, especially when Taureans refuse to do something just because they were told to.

Taurus prefers to keep a few close friends rather than be part of a large group. They need to have time to themselves and don’t like to open themselves up to people they don’t know well. Taureans are also rather self-indulgent and enjoy comfort and luxury more than most other signs.

Taureans don’t like to take risks. Deep down they have a lot of fears and anxieties, almost all of which also have to do with a need for security, but they will put them aside and fight persistently for what they believe in. This is not a particularly adventurous sign. Taurus prefers to build on an existing foundation rather than venture out into the wilds of life. Despite their anxieties, Taureans typically appear cool and confident on the outside. In love they are one of the most romantic signs in the Western Zodiac, though they are also one of the most withdrawn.
